"Children in Uniforms" — Editorial Illustration

Illustration for the article "Children in Uniforms". I developed a concept on such a complex topic for the second cycle of the theme of childhood for the magazine. A child is sitting on a soft armchair with toys; I did not just depict the toys, but the armchair on which he can sit from above, like a pose of suppression. His appearance looks out of place, and the child himself does not enjoy these toys. In his eyes and posture, one can read the discipline that did not allow the seed of childhood curiosity about the world to grow; instead, the child was left only with codes and rules for life.
